Continued Readiness
Posted: Sunday, September 25, 2011

Dear Inbound friends and family,

We had some rain in Portland today and more rain is expected.  It is natural during these times to relax your readiness.  However, as a company, we try to keep as many resources ready as possible so that in the event that we are needed, we can support the needs of the government.

A few years ago we were called to California in late October and worked into November.  If you would like to be part of our continuing effort to maintain readiness, then please continue to check in with me regularly.  We will likely go to readiness condition green tomorrow which requires check in every two weeks.

Once things return to a slightly less hectic pace we will invite all company employees to a year end get together.  We can celebrate our successes and identify areas where we can improve next year.  We should all endeavor to maintain our physical fitness in the meantime.  We will publish the training schedule for next year by March 2012.  I encourage all returning employees to take an early season refresher training and pack test in order to get a red card authorized as early as possible in case of a preseason need for resources.

It is an honor to do what we do!  I am proud of all of our employees and thank you for your dedication and service.  Well done!
